Rev. Michael D. (“Pastor Mike”) Smith has served as Senior Pastor of Redeeming Love Church on the border of St. Paul and Maplewood, Minnesota, since 1981. In 1993, out of a vision not just to pastor a church but to pastor a city, the church was renamed Redeeming Love Church and moved closer to St. Paul to be a beacon of hope for the Twin Cities.
For over four decades, Pastor Mike has carried a burden to see the spiritual atmosphere of despair and division transformed into one of hope, healing, and unity in Jesus.
Married to his wife, Sandi, Pastor Mike is a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Their family’s love and service to the Lord stand as a living testimony to the grace, restoration, and generational blessing he carries to the Body of Christ across the Twin Cities.
